Joseph Ayoub is Professor of Mathematics at the University of Zurich, where he leads the research group in Algebraic Geometry. His research specializes in algebraic geometry and motivic homotopy theory, with a particular focus on the theory of motives. He is a member of the CAS Research Group “Algebraic Groups, Motives and Applications”.
